What classification levels can you transport?
Our operations cover Confidential Defence, Secret Defence and NATO Secret levels. For material classified above NATO Secret (Cosmic Top Secret, ATOMAL), we work in partnership with specialised armed forces services under direct supervision of security officers cleared to the appropriate level. Each level involves specific protection protocols: double sealed packaging, intrusion sensors, escort cleared to the same level, and encrypted transmission of manifests.
How do you physically secure classified material during flight?
Classified material travels in armoured sealed containers equipped with multi-point intrusion sensors (opening, vibration, temperature, accelerometer). Numbered seals are verified at departure and arrival by a cleared security officer. Access to the cargo hold/cabin is restricted to personnel cleared to the classification level of the payload. In case of diversion, classified emergency procedures are activated to secure the material.
What regulatory framework governs weapons system transport by air?
Transport of weapons systems is governed by national war material export regulations (in France: decree n° 2012-901, defence code), ITAR/EAR rules for US-origin components, the EU Common Position 2008/944/CFSP, and bilateral defence agreements between states. Each mission requires prior authorisation from CIEEMG (Interministerial Commission for War Material Export Study) or its national equivalent.
