Turin-Caselle is the closest gateway to these resorts: 90 to 110 km depending on the destination, meaning 1h15 to 1h45 by road or 20 minutes by helicopter transfer. Saturday changeover days generate concentrated demand for morning slots; anticipating two to three weeks in advance guarantees availability.

Harvests and major events. In October, the Barolo wine route attracts wine professionals and international buyers to the Langhe, a UNESCO World Heritage vineyard. Ski Season, Via Lattea From mid-December to late March, Via Lattea Saturdays concentrate bizav rotations. Sestriere, Sauze d'Oulx, and Claviere are 1h15 to 1h45 from LIMF via the A32, or 20 minutes by helicopter. Saturday morning slots require booking two to three weeks in advance during high season. The Via Lattea already connected the same slopes during the 2006 Winter Olympics held in Sestriere.

October

Grape Harvest and Barolo Route The Nebbiolo harvest in October attracts international traders, buyers, and enthusiasts to the Langhe. The Barolo and Barbaresco vineyards, a UNESCO World Heritage site, are 87 km from the airport, or 1h15 by road to Alba. The white truffle of Alba (Tuber magnatum) hosts an annual global market in October and November.
