The heaviest heavy jets (Gulfstream G650, Global 7500, BBJ) exceed these thresholds and are subject to the night restriction.

Humberto Delgado is located 7 km north of the city center (distance to São Jorge Castle, according to official AIP data). In practice, a chauffeured sedan takes between 15 and 25 minutes to reach Chiado, Belém, or Parque das Nações depending on the time, without crossing dense urban areas. This is a rare proximity for an airport of this size. If you land in Cascais, the coastal road to Lisbon adds another 30 to 45 minutes.

Yes. The AIP indicates that veterinary services at LPPT are available H24 on PPR (Prior Permission Required). As Portugal is in the Schengen area, an animal entering from the European Union is subject to standard rules: microchip, European pet passport, up-to-date vaccinations. For an arrival from a third country, longer authorization periods may apply. Our team will review the documents beforehand to avoid any issues upon arrival.
