Tenerife South (Reina Sofía) (تينيريفي سور (رينا صوفيا)) is the gateway to resorts: Costa Adeje (كوستا أديخي), Las Américas (لاس أميريكاس), Playa de las Américas (بلايا دي لاس أميريكاس). It is open 24/7, with runway 07/25 measuring 3,200 m, at an altitude of 64 m. All jets can land there. Customs operate during airport hours. There is no hangar for transient aircraft.

Tenerife North (Los Rodeos) (تينيريفي نورتي (لوس روديوس)) is 13 km from Santa Cruz (سانتا كروز). It has a 3,171 m runway, but an altitude of 633 m: in summer, heat sometimes extends the required takeoff/landing distance. It is not open all night. A private flight requires 24 hours’ notice.
