Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know to organize your repatriation from the United Arab Emirates.
Is Dubai airspace closed?
Yes, since February 28, 2026, Emirati airspace has been closed or heavily restricted due to Iranian strikes. DXB (Dubai International) and DWC (Al Maktoum) airports are not operational for civil departures. Evacuation requires a ground transfer to Oman (Muscat) or Saudi Arabia (Riyadh, Dammam), whose airspaces remain open.
How long does it take to leave Dubai?
From call to landing in Europe, allow 12 to 18 hours. The ground transfer to Muscat takes 4-5 hours, FBO boarding 15-30 minutes, and the Muscat–Europe flight approximately 7 hours. Via Riyadh, add 5-6 hours of driving but the flight is slightly shorter (6h to Paris). Our crisis unit can prepare an aircraft within 4 hours after confirmation.
Why are prices higher than usual?
Prices reflect extreme demand (hundreds of requests per day), the scarcity of available aircraft in the region (many have been repositioned out of the conflict zone), and increased insurance costs imposed by operators in a crisis zone. Despite these conditions, we negotiate the best rates with our network of 200+ operators and refuse any abusive price gouging.
Can we travel with pets?
Yes. This is one of the great advantages of private jets in a crisis. Your pets travel in the cabin with you, without a crate in the hold. We handle the necessary veterinary documents for entry into Europe. Please indicate this when you call so we can prepare the formalities.
What documents are required for evacuation?
Valid passport is mandatory. For transit through Oman, European nationals benefit from a visa on arrival (or quick e-visa). For Saudi Arabia, we facilitate emergency transit authorizations. Our team coordinates all formalities with local authorities before your arrival at the airport.
Do you also organize repatriations from Abu Dhabi?
Absolutely. Our crisis unit covers all of the Emirates — Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and the other emirates. Evacuation routes are similar, with an advantage for Abu Dhabi: the Omani border is closer (2-3h drive to Al Ain/Oman). Contact us to assess the best scenario from your exact location.

Private Evacuation Jet from Dubai: Complete Guide March 2026
The crisis between Iran and the United Arab Emirates, triggered by Iranian retaliatory strikes in late February 2026, has plunged Dubai and Abu Dhabi into an unprecedented situation. Emirati airspace, usually one of the busiest in the world, is closed to civil operations. Commercial airlines have suspended their flights, and government repatriation attempts are facing complex security conditions — an Air France chartered flight had to turn back on March 5 due to missile fire.
Evacuation Routes from the Emirates
Exfiltration relies on two proven land corridors. The first passes through Oman: from Dubai, a 4 to 5-hour journey leads to Muscat International Airport (MCT), whose airspace remains open. The second crosses the Saudi border towards Dammam (6-7h) or Riyadh (10-12h), with fully operational Saudi airspace.
Private Jets Suitable for Long-Haul Evacuation
For a Muscat–Europe flight (7-8h), super midsize aircraft (Challenger 350, Praetor 600, Citation Longitude) or heavy jets (Global 6000, Falcon 7X) are the most suitable. They offer sufficient range for a direct flight, a spacious cabin for families, and cargo capacity for essentials. Ultra-long-range aircraft (Global 7500, Gulfstream G700) are available for more distant destinations.
Costs and Market Reality in a Crisis Situation
Charter rates in a crisis context significantly exceed usual prices. A Muscat–Paris flight, normally priced between 40,000 and 55,000 euros, is currently between 85,000 and 120,000 euros. This increase is explained by concentrated demand at a few diversion airports, the need to reposition aircraft in the area, and war risk insurance surcharges imposed by operators. Private Jets Connect is committed to fair and transparent pricing, without opportunistic price gouging.
Security and Coordination
Our crisis unit, active 24 hours a day since February 28, ensures the complete coordination of each evacuation. We work directly with FBOs in Muscat, Dammam, and Riyadh, Omani and Saudi civil aviation authorities, and our network of approved operators. Each ground itinerary is validated in real-time before the convoy’s departure.
